Powder Coat Tip

Here's one that some of you may not know about - removing powdercoat can be a real pain (which I found out after picking what I thought was the right shade of silver from my '74 400 frame) [V]

So... off to the auto shop and 2 spray cans of gasket remover and several hours with a high-pressure water jet and it's ready for another trip to the powder coaters - this time I'll ask to see an example of the finished colour

Gasket remover works like a charm.  Best paint stripper I've ever seen!
