Has anyone ran into this?  I have 2 32mm Bings.  One from a Puch 175 and one from a CanAM 125.  The one for the CanAm I am trying to use to replace worn Puch carb.  Problem seems to be the 1/32/3302A from the CanAm has 2 holes in the intake venturi.  One angled forward just like the Puch carb but and extra closer to the needle drilled straight down.  Both holes are about 10mm apart and are drilled to the slow jet.  When slide is closed one hole is behind front edge of slide and the other is in front of front edge like most Bings I have seen.
Bike will not start but once in a while with this carb with extra hole and runs way rich at low throttle if you can get it running.  Temp. plug the hole and it start right up and runs ok.  My question is how does Can-am use this set up?  Different slide or what?  Would like to know more before I start plugging/drilling.  Help!  Thanks, Ted

Ted, I'll send you a new(ish) 32mm 84 as a down payment for a copy of that pipe :) you need carb or just a body. George

George:  Think I am going to plug extra hole after talking to Bing today.  May then need to talk to you.  This carb is designed to be rubber mounted instead of the converted clamp style like our Puchs use.  Pipe performance is still unknown until I get this bike running/jetted correct.

I'll just add on to this post.  I am having issues getting my 125 running.  I noticed the floats, which are hollow plastic, have a bit of fluid inside, maybe a cc or so.  I can't see any leaks.  Was liquid added to get the weight correct?  I've never seen anything like this before and can't believe this is correct.

Any source on new floats if mine are shot?

Thanks.

No liquid should be inside floats.  If I remember they are suposed to weigh on 10 grams.  Bing International will have floats for you new. Ted

Hey, I am pretty sure I have a bing off a 75 husky 125 that you can have the floats out of if you need. the slide and pilot were wore out so I sheleved it. Hollar,TooTallPaul
