Wanted rear hub

Hello everyone

I was just just getting ready to install new bearings in the rear hub of my 1974 Sixdays and I noticed a crack on the inside about 2 inches long. I do not know how I missed it during the clean up and the painting but I did?

Would anyone have a spare rear hub that they would part with? The hub is a magnesium type with the large drives.

In reading some of the posts re: P-coating vs painting, torn between two lovers of technology that is out there. Each has it's own strategy, the end result is is nothing more than a Penton Luckily, I have had no serious problems with p-coating, but I do live in a dry climate. Bubba, http://cone.viawest.net/users/dkwracer/savetwo/, has been another, in a attempt to rebuild what I thought was a Penton/KTM worthy of the effort.
It sits silently in my shop, knowing that it has a history, the same consideration will be given to my RV390, it does need fenders, that might come from DC Plastics.
If there is anyone out there in Poggerville that has first hand knowledge with a 1980 RV 390 (DC Plastics) one would like to know!
