I have a enduro tank for a Penton.  My father used it on his 1977 Penton MC5-400 when he would trail ride. I believe he bought it after he had the bike, so I'm not sure if it was original equipment for other models.  The paint is in really good shape and only needs decals and gas cap.  I'm thinking of putting it on Ebay so I'm wondering if anyone can provide any information about it and what items like this tend to sell for.  I tried attaching pictures but I can't figure out how to do it.  If anyone can let me know how to attach pictures to this listing I would appreciate it.

Dear New Member,Why not offer your tank for sale on this site?I don't personally need one but i'm sure someone here does and would be willing to give you a fair price for it.

Hi new member! Welcome to the POG! Regarding your tank, if you look under the tank, pay attention to the frame backbone. In 77 the frame backbone was very large hi-breather type and very wide (3 + inches, earstwhile called the Turtleback or alligatorback)). This frame required a wide tank to clear the backbone. As far as I know, two tanks may be in the offing....one is the large n-duro tank with l-shaped decals, the other is a smaller MX tank much in the shape of an MC5 with c-shaped decals (somewhat rare and sought after)...

Hope this helps, and once again, welcome to the POG.

Thanks for the info, I sent pictures to another member and they identified it as a '76 Cross Country 125-400 tank.
Still curious on what value this tank may be.  It is in very good shape and only needs decals and a gas cap.
