I just bought an 83 Husky 250 XC in Riverside Ca, and need help getting it to New Orleans, or to Mid Ohio (I can retrieve it from there).

I ended up shipping my bike through uship.com and am impressed with the way that the site works. You post your shipment online for free & independent shipping companies bid on it. You can see their feedback from other shippers, and get a feel for how they handle their business. My bike should be picked up on Tuesday & delivered  directly to my office on Friday.

The price was very reasonable - $400 from the L.A. area to South Louisiana. So far I would recommend it.
