Sadly i report Mert-(the pup)-lost his long battle with illness last night.I want to again thank you guys for your prayers,support and kind words.That,no doubt,extended his too short life another few years.The house is way too quiet.He will be missed.Thanks,

  I have had the honor of meeting both of your guys.  Mert and Malcolm would make anyone happy.  I am sorry to hear of you losing Mert, but he was a happy pup and, I am sad to say, you treated these guys better than some people treat their children.  Keep us posted and I hope you get over to Texas and visit and I guess you can let Malcolm help with the driving[8D].

Ric, I am so sorry to hear of your loss.. In recent years we have add a couple pets to our household, only now do I even have a hint at what your are feeling.... As always, you are in my Prayers... I never got to meet Mert but you and I have met and that tells me alot about mert, He must have been very special!

Thanks guys,Malcolm is taking it pretty hard,but now i can take him with on trips to races,etc. since we don't have to worry about being close to a Vet for Mert.Hopefully he'll get used to being home alone while i'm at work(he tried to stop me from putting my shoes on this morning!)Mikey G. call me if you still need those parts-i'll have a chance to get out in the shed and root around now.
