My buddy Jim Trickett has a 1979 Husky 390OR for sale (ad and photos on Kansas City Craigslist).  Rebuilt Ohlins shocks, asking $1200.  I can vouch for any of Jim's bikes as being worth what he's asking.  Kip just got a 390 Auto from Jim and I believe he was satisfied with his purchase...Kip?
In the true spirit of enabling the addiction, I will be glad to get more info or photos for anyone that needs them and can help with storing the bike or getting it into the POG or Vinduro underground railroads for delivery.

Jeff,   Correct, very satisfied, I'll have the 78 390 Auto in mint condition as soon as some parts are delivered and I get her painted.  Jim T. is great to deal with (very honest) and "thanks" too to you for setting up the delivery along with Rik Smits.  My pals Forest Stahl and Kevin Grimes (2 of the top Husky guys in this country) are helping me get the old auto back to new again, along with my 73 250 WR project.  Can't wait to ride her, will seem funny not having to shift?

Hey Kip-does Forest or Kevin know of anyone who makes pipe/silencers for the white 1983/84 Husky's? Circle F and all the other pipe guys only do older models. I'm making a trick air-cooled/twin 1984 Husky XC250 for vintage mx. Also does Forest have any 430 motor's for-sale? Thanks

Jon,  Give Forest a call at 765-284-7653 M-F 0800-1700 Eastern and see what he has.  I think he wants to get rid of some 450's but not sure how many.  You might try Rik Smits on the white husky pipes [email protected]
