Yes, I did ask this question last year, but, here I am asking it again.....

I am looking to put a new tire on the front of my MC5 250.  I don't like what I have on there now, and I would like to get another one.  Living in the northeast, I need something to deal with the mud, roots, and rocks.  I don't want a "period" tire, but one that will perform.  I am thinking of the Michelin S12....  Any thoughts?

Thanks, James

There is only one choice for tires in my opinion and that is the Pirelli MT16s, they will FAR out perform S12s. Not only do they look right with an old school block tread, but they are built on a modern carcass and are as good or better than anything else you can buy. Others may disagree, but I find the S12s dont live up to the hype, they squirm on anything but soft.
