Fort Hood, Texas Rokon Team

Some of you know about the US Army Team out of Fort Hood, Texas that rode Rokons in the ISDT Qualifiers in 1973, we had some mention of this Team a week or so ago on this message board.

I contacted the one team member who lives in the Pittsburgh area, Joe Dengler, after the subject came up on the message board.  I spoke with Joe for about an hour that evening and also invited Joe to join us sometime for a trip to Amherst for a POG meeting.  Well, Joe just called and he will be traveling with Conrad, Brett and I tomorrow night to the meeting. I asked Joe to bring some of his photos and other items of interest to the meeting.

Joe hasn't been around this stuff for many, many years, I have already encouraged him to attend the ISDTRR and he is excited to go.  If you attend the meeting tomorrow night you will meet a very nice gentleman with an interesting story, Joe is very excited to meet John Penton and the rest of the gang, plus we will be showing the Italy and Isle of Mann ISDT DVD.
