I have a 1976 Suzuki RM370 in need of a new rod or crank kit and Suzuki has discontinued the parts and no NEW or NOS parts have surfaced on eBay. I don't think a used crank is what I want to try, as I would rather have it right. If anyone knows of a source or collector that may have one for sale or trade for a NOS RM125A Crank kit, I would greatly appreciate the information. Thanks, Mike

Michael,

Give the "Racers Toy Store" in California a call (760)815 0444
They put a rod kit in my CR-480 when I could,nt find OEM and said
they carry such a large inventory of kits that they can match up to most any older 2 -stroke. They've also got a website.

You might try Paul Miller, he can be conntacted through his ebay store. Try searching ebay stores for Paul Miller Motorcycles. He has lots of nos Suzuki parts and may be able to help.

Kevin & Richard,
Thanks for the help, I sent Paul an email, and once the crank is out and fully inspected, I will see what the Racers Toy Store might be able to come up with if no NOS parts are found. Mike

Mike,
If you can get the measurements from the old rod check with suppliers that handle Hot Rods , You may find they make one that is identical to the 370's

Did Jake Fischer ever sell Suzukis', or anyone remember any well known Suzuki race oriented dealerships that may have stocked rods or crank kits back in the day? I am trying not to having to resort to having a special item made, or sending the rod off and never seeing it again, and so far no-dice. The Suzuki part # for the rod is 12161-41200 and the crank kit is 12200-41200. Thanks for the off-topic tolerance. Mike

Mike,

My buddy Mark knows the old Suzuki scene well and he will be back in town later tomorrow.  I will pick his brain when he gets back.

With the help of Vance Smiths' posting on the TMSuzuki group, I am happy to say that a NOS RM370 connecting rod kit is on route to me now.
Does anyone have a good source for Wiseco ring sets, especially a .060 RM370 part # 3071TD? Wiseco doesn't list any older parts on their site anymore. I currently am rebuilding this 1976 RM370 and appreciate any help offered.
I also have a NOS 1971-76 TS185 crankshaft kit with rod and top bearing on eBay # 260365201551 if anyone is interested. It was initially marked as a RM125A crank, but I have determined the correct application. Mike
