I weighed my new '75 KTM seat assembly (Fiberglass Base,SS Mounts, Foam and Cover) tonight and was shocked.  It weighs over 8 pounds!  Does that seem heavy to anyone else?

Orig or aftermarket foam?  I got some stif foam from Alan Buehner that was very heavy.  I drilled many holes in it but still heavy.
