I am the proud owner of a 1973 Indian 125 cc MX, kinda neat bike. Pretty well constructed little bike, my Berkshire next to it likes the company.

Anyway, if anybody has any brochures, specifications or manuals I would be grateful for any information, as I tear into the project.

Thanks.

Unfortunatly, I don't know anything about the Indian.  My questions is with the Birkshire.  What kind of rear fender is on it and how does it attach to the rear loop.  My  72 125 6-day rear fender looked like that, however was completly distroyed by age and weather.  All I am going by is memory.  Any info would be helpfull

It is an NOS Falk fender and was a bit yellowed, I sanded with 1500 then 2000 and used lots of semi-chrome.  It fits to to the ears on the rear loop as do they all 72/73, I think.  I have 3 in my secret stash...[:p]

Thanks for asking.

Thanks for the info.  The ears on my frame are gone and thats what I was afraid of.  My Brothers must of ground them off.  There was some pipe hanging strapping holding on the rear fender.  I will be seeing them this weekend and have alot of questions to ask them.  My front fender was broken in 2 and was yellow also.  I epoxied the 2 pcs together, sanded well and painted it with Krylon Fusion for Plastice Gloss White. it looks pretty good.  The bike is comming together pretty good.  Its not showroom new, but looks 100 percent better.

I'll keep an eye out for Indian info.  Thanks again,  G

I believe the 74 bikes had a rubber fastener that "swallowed" the rear loop of the frame and mounted the fender with (2) bolts.

I have a couple in my boxes somewhere and could look to see for you.

I'll let you know.
