A dirt bike "bucket list"--to do before you die

I have not seen the movie but the concept is good--a list, called a "bucket list", for those things you wish to do before you fall off the twig.  If you don't mind I think I will propose one for myself and I would be interested and grateful to know those of your own if not too personal.  I think if the list is confined to motorcycle stuff and things within reason (i.e., I do not think that if I were to list riding a wheelie out of the parc ferme of next year's (or any year's) ISDE that would be within the spirit of a buckt list), that would be most interesting.  It would represent the things we actually could do if we simply decide that we will do them.  Who knows, if two or more have the same items we could band together.  Some of these are easy and some not so easy to envision.  In no particular order:

1.  Ride in an ISDT Reunion Ride.  Looking good.  Just signed up today.

2.  Attend an Isle of Man TT.

3.  Ride the Isny vintage ride with our friends from Italy, Austria and Germany.

4.  Do the Barstow to Vegas run.  Ideally on a Penton but on just about anything would do.

5.  Take a Penton Mint 400 for a spin (just to convince myself it would be insane to have one).

6.  Have a full-on chopper for a weekend.  I'm basically talking Captain America here, needs to be a hardtail with ape hangers and major springer front end.

7.  Ride monkey on a vintage trials rig.

8.  Lay a dirt tracker sideways.

9.  Own a pair of old Hi-Point boots.

10. Learn how to tear down and fully rebuild a KTM engine.

Maybe I will edit this and perhaps will check some things off but as of now the above are what came to mind.

Best regards, John

Half of those make my list, {always wanted to monkee on a sidecar}. One on my list is to do is a 48 state run, as much as possible off the interstate, see the "real" America........ ride out to Key West..maybe do Daytona and Sturgis in the same year.... so much to do, so little time.......

I have done a few of those.
-The RR was a hoot and I want to do it again one day.
-Rode a Mint 400, what an insane bike.. (scary fast)
-It was all I could do just to hang on to a sidecar MX bike, it had  a CR500 motor on
- would love to ride a 501 but a 490 was scary fast too...
- would love to ride the old hangtown track ( I love sand tracks)
- hmmm come to think of it, it would be cool to race MX on the east coast.....
There are a few things that I thought I would never get to do, but I did.. like meeting John Penton, and Jim Pomeroy to name two. it really shook me when he passed away. Jim that is....
