In the interest of getting all the questions about the ISDT Reunion Ride answered properly and timely, please use this thread for your questions.

Thanks
Paul

In response to the question about the gas stop, the mileage to the stop is about 20.

If you need your gas can hauled just ask around and see if someone can take your can out to the gas stop with them, I made many a new friend this way. Steve said there is a gas station right near the gas stop, if you take enough oil to mix with a gallon or so of gas you are all set.

Saturday's ride does not make a loop, it will take about 4 hours to ride.  I carry water and a couple of energy bars.

The small bore machines started first at the ISDT events in the era that most of us rode, one of our goals is to try to provide as much of an ISDT experience as possible, hence the new starting order for the ISDTRR.

Are the rider numbers assigned ?  If so where can we find them ?

Smaller bikes have a tougher time with difficult terrain and don't have as much speed as the bigger machines.  Also the smaller bikes don't tear up the ground as bad a bigger machines. OH, Also the 50cc and 75cc machines were on slower speed schedules than bigger cc bikes and they wanted them to finish before dark. LOL.

Hello Paul the Mickevicius Boys have entered and are looking forward to the ride.  You mentioned that the Saturday run doesn't loop, will we need to ride the road back to the fair grounds or have transportation ready at the end?

Paul Danik

Hi,

I stand corrected, what I was trying to convey is that it is only one loop and will not pass thru the fairgrounds to provide for a gas stop.  The ride will start and finish at the fairgrounds.  I am sorry for any misunderstanding.

Thanks
Paul

Important question...do you know if they will have breakfast available at the track Sat & Sun ? (does this show my level of training and age when this ranks as an important question?)

Another important question? Are campfires allowed at the fairgrounds(it's gettin cold out),also,Sat. gas station stop takes cash,???,so many around here are c. card only.   Thanks, Bill

I just talked to Steve and the food vendor will have breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday starting at about 6:30 and they will also have lunch items later.  Steve has used these folks before and he says they are pretty darn good...

I believe that the actual campsites do have fire rings, but the open field that will be used for camping does not. You will need to ask the fairgrounds folks at the gate about fires, best bet might be to bring a grill or metal tub in case they allow them if contained.

Not positive on the gas, but given the rural location I would assume that cash is just fine.

There are already a few folks camped on the grounds according to Steve.

Quick weather update for those heading in from warmer destinations...there was frost on the pumpkins this morning here in Ohio.
