According to the photo caption, that is Mike Kidds bike, World Champ # 104. He is pictured on one in the Penton KRP sales flyer and was to campaign the KRP to promote it for Kenny Roberts and Penton. Mike

It is Mike Kidd's bike and it was sponsored by Kenny Roberts.  I think the first race (National) for this bike was at the Astrodome.  Could be wrong, but that is when I first saw the bike.

I had 1968 for the last four didgets on my phone number until I went to cell only.  Neat Bob.

Baub, I can "never" believe that you should stop at 1968, your number is never up, nor are your posts, they mean so much to us. I have orders for parts.......I actually played a round of golf today........1st hole, two shots=net birdie, next shots, some good, some not so hot, but do you see? You have something..it belongs to you.

Don't know what happened to Mike's Bike. I do know the first race was indeed the Short Track at the Astrodome and I'm pretty sure (99.9%) Kenny was not involved as a sponsor.
