hi guys. i just wanted to get the word out here that the jeepskool event has been canceled due to a new financial package that the promotor wanted to host the event. it would have cost significantly more money to put on the event than last year and the gate and camping fees would have been raised unacceptably as well. i'm very sorry to hear this as i loved putting that course together. a worthy replacement is being sought so stay tuned...( and i will probably be involved in layout with any new course too)    chi jer

Chicago Jerry,
What is up with AHRMA races in our home state of Ohio? First it was the Smith Road MX National and now for 2011 Jeep Skool 2-Day Cross Country has been cancelled already!! Is there any hope that the replacement will be in Ohio?? There are so many great motorcycle club's and promoters in Ohio that in my opinion are willing to put on these types of events if given the opportunity. If you need any help finding a replacement venue in Ohio Please let me know.
Thank you again for all that you have done for AHRMA and the sport of vintage motorcycle racing!
Sincerely,
Mike Scholl

Mike, I noticed you are also from Ohio.  Yes, I am disappointed that another local AHRMA race has been deleted from our local schedule.  Hopefully, another location can be obtained.   The Ohio races were the only ones I could attend b/c we have two small children.  We might have to take a road trip if I want to race again...   Joe

Jerry, I heard that Drew Wolfe at Action Sports ( Nelsonville, Ohio) is interested in an AHRMA race. I would also talk to Kevin Brown of the Athens Motorcycle club, he is a big fan of vintage racing. Thanks, Stork
