MPG on 250 GS6?

Is it my imagination, or is the miles per gallon not that good on my bike.  Mostly around town.  I will keep tack next time, I fill up.

As a street bike I would guess MPG would be pretty poor, maybe 15MPG? These were race bikes purpose built to go as fast as possible and not tuned for efficiency. If you have a Bing, you could get a large MPG increase with a Lectron carb. Penton went to them for that reason, and an added bonus is the improved power delivery and smoothness.

OK, I see in the other post you have a Mikuni. It should be marginally better than the Bing for MPG, but neither are going to be close to a Lectron for mileage.
