I have to add my 2 cents worth.

I was one of the people who bought riding jerseys from Larry this summer. He took it upon himself to organize this huge undertaking, and I thank him for his efforts. The jerseys were all custom made, with many different color combos, as well as custom numbers and names, and mine arrived just as promised. Upstanding guy.

I would like my Penton parts that i paid for back in June and my $50 refund he has owed me since July, i did finally get my jerseys thanks to Mike Winter !!

here is a little script:

Larry : Mike i will send your package out on Wed. and refund your    $50 thru Paypal
Mike : thank you Larry, please email me the tracking info

Mike : i will drop you a line when the package arrives and i see my refund

Latest Up-Date, i still have not received my parts or cash i sent Larry,

Larry used to be a stand up guy here and outside the POG in my eyes,
when you tell me my parts will be mailed the next day and my money will be sent back to my PayPal account { mind you this was a month and a half ago he told me this on the phone } and nothing shows,
no phone calls or emails, i have called him several times and left messages { even loosing my cool and letting my Irish temper get the best of me on one of the messages - sorry Larry } but still he doesn't return my calls,
how do i have faith and respect for someone i thought was a dear friend and Brother !!

Larry i know you read here, step up and do right, send me my parts and my money and put this behind us !!!!!!!!!!

Mikey,Same boat as you.Still trying to get the rest of the parts to put this bike together.Lots of broken promises i hate to say.It's very frustrating-i could go on but suffice it to say it's been 5 months.I feel your pain.

I have kept my mouth shut since this post started. I just need to ask a question or two. Has anyone heard from Larry? Is he OK? Is he injured, or sick or in the hospital??? Does anyone know? I realize that he owes some of you parts, a bike and maybe a shirt or two, but the 1st thing I think one should do is to ensure he is alright. Being a week or so late is not out of the norm for Larry, but months??? It makes me think something is not right. Larry would NEVER do this unless something was drastically wrong.
Please guys, lets make sure everything is fine with Larry before we send out the lynching party.

I have also held my toungue, but I saw him in person a while back at the Cadillac dealership that he works at to obtain part of the things that he owed Mike G. including our shirts, and he was fine, and making promises that he never intended keeping, and excuses that were clearly untrue. He is removing motorcycles from his life, as he only has time for work, and any time left over is spent with his better half, not fufilling comittments. Selling the same items to more than one person to meet financial reponsibilities, (including complete motorcycles on occasion) is not my idea of the upstanding Larry I used to know. Mike

Hi Donny,I don't want to start in on this and ruin my day thinking about it.Yes i've talked to Larry.The only way he returns calls,answers emails,or text messages is if YOU catch him at his work#.I've asked how he is,can i help,is everything ok and he says yeah just busy.I'm beyond that now.So yes Donny,he is ok enough to make it to work but not to go to the post office or ups.The frame i finally got was packed so poorly it looked like it was dragged behind the ups truck from Springfield.He clearly does not give a ****.I have no doubt Larry has health and other problems-at our ages who doesn't.He has outright lied to me over and over and over.He just can't seem to,or doesn't want to follow thru.It's not a lynching party Donny,give me a call an i'll be glad to explain the whole story-i've begged,pleaded,given slack,etc.,etc.etc. and given him every chance to make things right with little result,though i did get my frame(damaged)and wheels about 5 months after purchase and still waiting on a bunch more stuff.Ok i'm done,my day is ruined.Thanks,Ric
 p.s.just now got a text from Larry-he's"taking it now"-i hope he really is-we'll see-i've been told that too many times before to fall for it again.                                                               Ric
p.s.-yes obviously i have plenty of other bikes but this one was special,Tom Benolkin spent lots making this light,titanium,etc. so it has stuff none of my other ones have(which i am waiting for still).And despite this i really wish Larry the best in his quest to Become a Man.(see his previous post in racing talk).

I have repeatedly offered, (through the few conversations that Mike G. was able to have with Larry), to pick up the outstanding parts for Mike & Ric so that Larry didn't have to even go to the trouble to pack or ship them and Larry just made excuses for the most part that he was too busy to even round them up.
