Those were very nice easy to ride bikes - perfect for a beginner, teenager, or spouse.

Light - maneuverable, low maintenance. huskies from that era were just about bulletproof - and a lot less hassle than most other dirt bikes from that time.

Sorry fastwillie, the only reason i am letting this go,is i do not have enough room for it.

Wow - VERY clean bike - looks like it has forks from a 78 or later model. I don't recognize the triple clamps. OEM forks were straight legged Leleu brand like the front brake & hub.

Also has a later model pipe (either from a late 70's 250 or early 80's 175). The OEM pipe was the heavy one that ran along the left side of the bike.

The Gurtner carbs were different - but servicable. With that pipe I'd bump the ignition a little and add a Boyeson reed & 34 mm Lectron to really help it fly. K&N filters helped them breathe too.

Again, John - very nice bike. Only if I were still able to ride......

I just recently acquired this bike. The front forks are labeled ceriani, and have the leading axle. the pipe is from a later model 250(78 maybe?). the seat cover needs replaced, and the gas tank has some paint worn off the sides and one scratch on the right side. I believe there is supposed to be a rubber strap to secure the rear of the gas tank, that is not there. overall the rest of this bike is very nice. i have more pics, but am having trouble downloading them. i will try to get them up here soon. thanks for looking.

Husky is still available. runs great, looks great. I can deliver to AHRMA national at Smith rd raceway in Medina Oh. or to vintage days at Mid-Ohio.

The pipe on your bike is a Proto Pipe out of Cambell Calif. They made lots of very fast Husky pipes in the day, my question is ! are those DC plastic fenders?
Thanks Dennis
