Guys, I'm a new member to the Owners Group but have owned and followed Penton Motorcycles since 1972. You are all doing a great job in keeping the brand alive. I just finished restoring a 250 MC that I purchased new in 1975. I enjoyed the process so much that I decided to do more. My latest project is a 73 Six Day basket case and I'm looking for an exhaust pipe. I have a very rough partial pipe (front half) and plan to rebuild it but I thought I would check to see if one in better condition might be available. Also looking for some stock handle bars. Don't mind refinishing old rusty bars as long as they are straight. Any help or ideas are appreciated.

We all welcome you Cal. I think a lot of us have 125 six day pipes so you'll have many to choose from. I've got one that is excellent of a 75 six day that had low hours on it. If your interested I can send you pictures.

Hi Cal,
Welcome to the group! If original is not a requirement, Kevin Felle from Circle F in Texas makes a pipe for the 1973 125. You have to provide the baffle and end cap and he does the rest for around $240.
If you don't have the baffle and end cap, they are sometimes available through Alan Buehner at penton parts. You also have to supply your own clamp on heat shield and clamps, springs and the 3 frame mounting rubbers and bolts which Al may also have. Good luck on your project!

gooddirt

Most of the 1973's had the three spring end cap type and chrome heat guard , not the same as 1975 pipe.

Thanks Mike, I've already purchased the baffle and end from Al B. to rebuild my partial pipe so Circle F sounds like a good solution.. I will check em out. Are they listed on the owners group supplier list? Also interested in any stock pipes that may be available. Thinking I may do a custom pipe for riding and a stock pipe for  show. -Cal

Hi Cal,
Kevin isn't listed under suppliers, but can be found by googling circlefexhaust.com. I have sent him pieces of pipes and he makes the rest - takes him a couple of months, depending on how busy he is, but his work is excellent! His pipe for the 1973 125 won't have the ridges on the top and bottom of the pipe like the stock ones, and won't be painted but will still look and perform excellently! Super nice guy who makes super nice pipes!
