tail light lens

I've read that when you bought a new penton if you wanted lights you bought the enduro kit. Can anyone tell me if this is the kind of light that came in an enduro kit? And where I might find a lens?

  You are correct in that one needed to buy an Enduro Kit to get the lights, as well as the other "enduro" items for their Penton. The Enduro Kits at times had various lights, but your light doesn't look familiar as being one that was included in an Enduro Kit. Possibly some one else might recognize it.

The light is a Triumph style 525 I believe.  There was a similar Triumph style 564 but it was flat on the bottom where yours is a shallow V.  Ebay has  several lenses and here is one auction number for one to look at : 321601526307.  These were sold and copied by the Japanese and Taiwan in the 60's 70's and maybe still.  Most were sold with a cast aluminum bracket / license plate mount.

Thank you Paul and Ted. I thought this might be from an enduro kit because I bought this bike from the original owner and he only rode the bike for 5 years. He parked it in 78 with a bad rod bearing. I looked at the light your talking about Ted, that light could be a replacement. I'll look into it.
