1974 Harescambler 250

1974 Harescrambler 250
Project bike in need of a new home.  After fiddling with this bike off and on for several years, and finally getting it running, I discovered that the "rebuilt" engine was apparently assembled with old seals and no 5th gear.  Since I am unable to kick start a 250 any more, I have lost the motivation to finish this project.  

Lots of new replacement parts installed, including:
Tires and tubes – F Metzler 6 Days, R Maxxis.
Seat cover.
Brake shoes – F & R.
Front Brake cable
Reworked 6 pole Motoplat (Vance Smith)
Chain

Bike will need:
Fenders
Engine tear down, inspection, and at least seals and trans work.
Miscellaneous cosmetic work.

The tank has been structurally repaired and sealed with POR15, but needs paintwork.
The frame has been repainted.
The engine runs really strong except for blowing smoke (from bad seals?)
Clutch seems to work fine.

Asking $1150 obo. Bike located in Arkansas 72034.
Possible delivery to Diamond Don's.
