Anyone know what size carb would be a good replacement for the Bing?  34?
Thx, DK

I believe the consensus is 32mm.  But be aware it is not a take the Bing off and install the Mikuni.  Below is a link to one of the numerous threads on the subject using search.

I've got a 32mm on a 175 and it runs great.  Not saying a 34 wouldn't be different (or better), but this Gary Ellis-built engine will start up on three kicks after the dead of winter, and always starts 1st kick on dead-engine hare scramble events.  It pulls great in the woods and has plenty of top end for me.  Better riders might prefer the 34, but I'm staying with the 32 on mine.

Some folks will run the smaller (size 32mm) for better low end response while other prefer a larger size for more top end power.  I run a 32mm for what it's worth.

Do you have your jetting specs handy?
Thanks DK

I don't, but honestly I bought a brand new 32 off eBay, put it on the bike, and have been so happy with the performance that I haven't changed a thing.  5 years running strong.
