Hello Penton group,

I got another Penton project: a 1975 Hare Scrambler.

I found Bing carburetor for it this weekend. I still need a Motoplat ignition (among many other things). I'll work on this bike once I am done with my current 1977 Maico 440 GS project.

Cheers

Andreas

Andreas, email or call me.  I have a complete, working when removed Motoplat system from a 250.

If you want to keep the looks and power band characteristic's stay with 1973 Hare Scrambler expansion chamber. There is after market pipes ,but they alter power band and possibly horse power . Stock 250 pipe is tuned for that engine and a 175 pipe would be tuned for that specific cc and power delivery . The factory put a lot of research in this and funds to get what they got. No short cuts on this its an art before cad systems .

I actually like the power that the ACE pipe makes compared to stock.  My second favorite is the stock chrome end enduro pipe.
