Gentlemen and Ladies, having yesterday pre-rode the November 13th race coming up this weekend in Greenville, OH allow me to confirm it to be Post-Vintage, friendly. Please also understand the Treaty City Club is including a "Vintage Trophy" for the top vintage/PV rider for this Sunday's race. Also, a Vintage-Entry can include him or herself in the Team-Trophy, competition with the modern bikes. As many as a dozen Vintage/PV riders enjoyed this race several years ago with it being an Old-School, timed, event. Those of you that may have rode this event in the 80's and 90's and found it troublesome to finish; that is not and has not been the condition for the last decade. The weather looks extremely-favorable through the weekend with perfect riding temperatures. Please consider as this truly a superb, event. And yes, I will be riding PV. Boot up!

Sounds like a lot of fun.  How many ground miles?  Also, how far in advance does the Treaty City Club schedule this event?  Unfortunately can't attend this year, but next year sounds like one for the schedule.  Thanks Tim!

I remember racing a scrambles there in 1973 !!!   Lived on Toledo back then.
Glad to see that they're still around!

Mick, this event is in it's 74th, year. Apologies as it's always ran two-weeks prior to Thanksgiving. Look for 82 total ridden miles. Yes, we have a bit of road and a lot of fields to cross; the woods are just great. Appreciate your considering next year, sir.
David, will be on an 81" WR430, sir. Rode the XR, yesterday and it's fun to hunt-and-run-from the Orange, in the woods.
Jeff, I think the Treat Club is in it's 79th year;

Gentlemen and Ladies, morning- First a quick congratulations to Todd Price, a furiously-fast and capable rider for taking a first place position in Treaty City Peace Pipe Enduro. Todd was riding a superbly maintained, silver-framed, 390CR Husqvarna. Mr. Price is a very fast rider and mixing-it-up, successfully, with the modern riders. With activities in assisting with the Treaty Club yesterday, I was unable to speak with him, yesterday. Polly, did and enjoyed the conversation and his commitment to the sport and the race.  I hope to gain contact with him through this forum and/or any direction you all may have. More on the race via a later post.
Congratulations, sir!

Gentlemen and Ladies....the rider capturing the Vintage, First Place Trophy is "Scott Price".  Scott, if you're out-there, apologies. Again though, congratulations sir! Well done! Thank you!  Tim

Tim,

Scott Price AKA: Reddog is a capable rider of winning! Scott & I are best buds...even have the same birthday!  I am the older brother. Scott & I grew apart as we both started new chapters in our lives and after 20+ years it's old vintage motorcycles and a group I started on Facebook.  The BEER Map group where anybody involved in the enduro scene can share pictures & stories from "Back In The Day" that reunited us..

Since then the dirt bike bug has bitten again... I rebuilt the motor in Scott's Husky which we have named "The Beast" Helping Scott with his restoration was a blast and the bike turned out great...  He has raced it 3 times this year and he thought he would try another enduro!  Well his results speak volume of his talent.  He said it was blast!

Thanks'for posting this about him.
