When I Google tuning Vintage Lectron carburetor is it the same as the modern  carbs ?

Go to the Lectron web site and I think there is something on there. I have one of the early ones on a '77 400 MC-5 and did some work on it. I think the manual for that year bike has tuning info in it also. Basically all you do is turn the metering rod up and down. The rods come in different sizes for big jumps. Al Buehner has parts for mine. He may have the manual for that year bike also if you need it The original float bowl does NOT like alcohol and I think Al had an update bowl for mine. Gary Ellis says you can make a Mikuni bowl fit and work with a little work if necessary. I don't remember if I did a search on tuning them on the POG list here or not but there probably is. There really are no new problems with these things!
