I have discovered an issue with my Twin Air filters...  The glue is dissolving on the seals...  I contacted Twin Air, and they are telling me that my oil, No Toil, is affecting the glue.  They are claiming that other manufacturers are too have the same problem.  Is this happening to anyone else?  I have an email to No Toil, to see what they say.  I have been using this oil for a number of years without any issue. Will keep you updated on what I find out....

I have send an email to No Toil, but have yet to get a response. I am going to start using Twin Air's green filter oil.  I will say, that Twin Air was quick to respond, and is sending me a new filter.  Ummm, a company doing the right thing, what a novel concept!

So Twin Air says the green is only intended for the green filters.  I guess if I have a regular Twin Air filter I should use the regular Twin Air oil?

Larry, not at all.  The green is biodegradable; washes out with warm water.  Nothing to do with which filter you are using.  I too am using the regular filters...

No problem glad to share the info! And to think we just had a conversation about this a couple of months ago..... Go figure....
