Searching For Large Hi Point Trailer

Hi,

I'm searching for a large Hi Point trailer.  I read they claim to have made them up to 28' in length.  Ideally, I'd like the 24' with the higher roof (I'm 6'4" and played too much football without a helmet) but I am open to whatever is out there.

I am open as to condition but price must reflect the condition rather than memories of glory.  I expect to do some rebuilding and intend to use more modern materials but want to start with the Penton fiberglass box.  I don't mind fabricating a new frame even.

Worst part, I'm in San Diego and these just don't seem to have been sold much here or migrated here so I"m open to getting it delivered by a service as well.

Thanks for any useful advice!

What should I look to pay?

Is it me or do most of them seem to be within 750 miles of the factory?

Any downsides to getting the higher roofline?  I'm in San Diego (the desert essentially) and there are no indigenous trees so that isn't an issue for us.

Here's a listing for a 20 footer in Louisville.  Seems a little pricey though....  It may be just some hot air :D

Thanks Dale!

I've seen that one.  Perhaps it's been for sale for ahwile.  I think it's just a bit small.

I have an 1985 20' flat roof model for sale.  Price is $3,000 OBO. It has 6 new tires, lots of storage, and a gas stove/oven, plus it came with a small access door on the right side which I enclosed to make a gas can locker. PM me and I can send you some photos if interested....
