York, PA swapmeet, an epic event !

The York, Pennsylvanian Swap Meet and Bike Show put on by the Potomac Vintage Riders is coming up once again, man the years sure do fly by !

If you have never attended this epic event I would highly recommend that you give some though to attending. Many states are represented at this event and for good reason. Started many years ago by Will Stoner and now hosted by the Potomac Vintage Riders, this event has grown from being held in one of the smaller buildings at the York Fairgrounds to now pretty much filling every square foot of the largest building on the property, and it IS a very large building.

The event is a one day event taking place this year on Sunday January 27th., set up for vendors in on Saturday. If the Swap Meet wasn't enough there is also an incredible bike show put on as well. The goal of the organizers of the bike show is to have about 100 machines on display with NO duplicates from the last 3 years.

Last year John Penton was in attendance at this event and I do believe he plans on attending this year as well. "Super Hunky" Rick Sieman, Paul Clipper, "The Professor" Gary Bailey and numerous others of such notoriety were there last year and you just never know who you might rub shoulders with, let alone what you might find in the Swap Meet.

Already got room reserved and the paperwork for a spot is in the mail. Always a good time and usually decent weather. Haven't had to battle snow in either direction yet. This meet is a great reason to get out in the middle of the winter and hang out with like minded people and make some new friends.
