27mm Atomizer question

Has anyone ever modified the std 27mm atomizer.... If u have what did you do and what were the results .... I know there is the 404 Atomizer but was wondering if  the std could be modified ... thks BT

I have never tried it, but in the past I have discussed this with other POG members and the recommendation was to solder close 3 of the 4 holes in the stock atomizer.  The said, the 40-404 atomizers with the single hole are still available online here http://www.ebaystores.com/genuinenos/?submit.x=0&submit.y=0&_nkw=atomizer&

Kevin thks .. I am aware of the 40-404... did anyone say what the reason was  to plug the 3 holes and I assume they cut the halfmoon in. I was thinking leaving holes open and just cutting in halfmoon.. BT
