Penton Mint 400

I am offering my professionally restored Mint 400 for sale. The bike left the restorer's shop and went right into my house in Columbus Ohio. Never ridden.
Frame number: 54 411 79605. Engine number: 4-5500857.

The number that you have listed for the engine number is actually the casting number for the engine not the engine ID number. the actual engine ID number is located above the ignition cover on the right hand side of the engine just below the cylinder fins by the front engine mount bolt. Hopefully your engine number will be starting with 4-55 or 5-55 for a 400 engine.
