If any of you fine folks are on the interstate highway between Mars, PA and Villa Ridge, Missouri on Wednesday and see this unmarked police cruiser with Pennsylvania plates in your rearview mirror, you best give it a clear path. At the wheel will be police officer and POG member Conrad Pfeiffer on his way to Ray Mungenast's Classic Bike Headquarters with a load of items destined for the PENTON room of the Museum.

Conrad stopped by yesterday to pick up the items I had ready with more items to be loaded over the next day or so. Ray, and his crew at the Museum, have dedicated a room to the PENTON marque and Conrad is hauling items from the POG storage facility in my basement to the Museum, under armed guard all the way.

THANK YOU, Conrad, for taking on this mission, and most assuredly, a big POG THANK YOU to Ray Mungenast and his dedicated crew for all of their time and efforts. I am sure that the PENTON room at the Classic Bike Headquarters would make John very proud.

Do you know what his ETA will be on Wednesday?? I'll be down south in Fenton that morning and early afternoon, and can run out I-44 and meet him. It's been a while since I've been to the Museum, and good excuse to go again. That's not one of their normal open days of operation, but maybe I'll find Ray there??

Mission Accomplished !! It was great to just get out of the house!! It was in the 40's today here!! I got there first, and Conrad made the scene next followed by Marr from the Museum next. Got the stuff carried in, looked it over a bit, then a whirlwind tour of the Museum. I haven't been there in a while and things are different!! I need to spend a day there as soo as practical!! If you ever get the chance, you gotta check it out!! The Penton Room in coming along Nicely!! I got a few pictures that I'll post later.

I think this is a recent addition to the Mungenast collection. The sign says one of only two made. Looks like a '71 Steel Tanker frame and such with a '72 fiberglass tank. Serial #2.
