Wassell Rear Brake Conversion

Has anyone tried to eliminate the godawful
cable operated rear brake by using a rod instead? If so how did you do it and does it improve the braking?

I just finished mine and it works great! Maybe you can see it this weekend when your in town. I found a brake arm for you.
