I know this is a long shot, but I am looking for information on a frame I have just bought. It is a Wassell frame, number W911 S1
It has an oil carrying top tube, twin front downtubes, twin downtubes below the seat, but very close together. I think it was made for a Sachs engine. Can anyone give me any information about this frame, its age and the original cycle parts it used. I can e-mail photos to anyone who wants them. Just e-mail me on [email protected].
Thanks
Greg

It sounds like you have a Penton Trials or Wassell Antelope Frame.
Could the serial number be W911 ST ?

It had aluminum tank, fenders & side covers.
Chrome rims with Rickman hubs.
I have Brochures of the Bikes, on waxandwheels.com on page 5
you can look at and compare frames.

Thank you for that. The frame number definitely looks like W911 S1 rather than ST.I have e-mailed your site regarding the 3 Penton and Wassell brochures - how much for all 3 Air Mailed to the UK?
