Old Bike

Does any one have information on a bike called Allouette.  It has a sachs 6B motor and some of the parts look very similar to the Penton.  Any information would be appreciated.

It was built in Nortnern Quebec by the same Alloutte Snowmobile Company  I think all it had in common was the Sachs engine .I saw and raced against quite a few of them back in the day but I have not seen many latley...I am looking for some good pics of them for historical preservation I have a few pics but they are in sad shape ( the bike ) What other info is needed ?? Thanks for the information.  Do you have any other information about the company, how long did they produce the bike? how long were they in business? how did this bike end up in Missouri?  
The bike seems to be all there, but in about 15 different places, could not locate the pipe, did they use a pipe similar to the Penton 125? fiberglass fenders and tank, gray, and seem to be pretty complete.

I own two Allouette bikes. The first one I took out of the crate in 1973. My dad was a dealer. It's still mint and runs great. The second I bought as a basket case and I'm looking for a motor. I have the original sales flyer with all the specs and a picture of this bike on the front. Also have an original repair/ owners manual that came with it. Allouette also had a military contract for one of there models although I haven't seen one yet. I also have a few Allouette patches and two Alouette winbreaker jackets and even some Snowmobile boots and Snowmobile parts hanging around.

  The pipe on the one I own is the same as the '72 125 Six Day Penton.

Kind of a sad tale, but a friend here in Maine was a dealer as well, and after many years of looking at his stock of parts, he took it all to the dump. New tanks even. Never thought there would be a call for them. He now owns a large motorcycle salvage business and still takes tons of stuff to the dump. He just can't store it all.. mostly street bikes. I have already taken the few Penton items.

  I bought one that need attention.  It was advertised as complete and was a disappointment when I received it.  Well I just try to move on and remember that that was one bad apple out the hundreds of wonderful people I have met and done Penton business with.
