thanks for the info from  Martijn. Yes, I got the email you sent to my n7bqv address.
I'm looking forward to making those mods next off-season. Meanwhile, does anybody have an internal rotor PVL they want to sell?
Also, who would be interested in straight cut primary gears? What would be an acceptable cost? I don't think we would need to run those expensive ($40 each)  stock main bearings and could replace them with standard SKF or Timpkin ball races, since there wouldn't be any side thrust.  Any machinist with the proper tools could make them. I think $100 per set would be well spent don't you guys?
