175 cc Jackpiner

Could someone tell me how many horsepower the 1972 175cc Jackpiner produces? It seems like it doesn't have as much on top as a 125cc Sachs, but much greater bottom end.

The Penton literature shows the "72"
125cc engine @ 21 HP and the 175cc engine
@ 26 H.P.  We just compleated a 175 for my son and I have come to the same conclusion about the power.  It seems to be more or a grunter than a revver.
