I really want to have a Berkshire and a Six Day steel tank for my collection. I have 4 Jackpiners, in various stages, so I thought I would see if anyone had any interest in a trade. The one that I would consider trading is a '74. I bought it a few years ago and have not touched it. It is complete and in overall excellent shape, although the motor is stuck. Not sure why, as I haven't done a thing to it. I am restoring my '73 that I have had since new, so that takes my time. I never intended to sell any bike, but this idea keeps popping into my head. Let me know if there is any interest and I will get some photos together.
Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill, I've been told that Bruce Myric may have some old relics in his attic resembling steel tankers. All second hand info of course,
Remember, If theres more than one, don't forget who told ya so[8D]
I Road today, the ice and mud covered trails, are almost passable:D

I searched Bruce's warehouse long ago... no Pentons. He has six floors of an old shoe shop stuffed full of bikes, but no a lot of dirt bikes. Some Ossa and Bultaco stuff, but Bruce has restored several Ossa's so those parts are pretty spent. I guess no one wants to trade. I will buy any decent steel tankers that anyone wants to sell.

finally rained here yest. so the steel tankers are v3357 &v4720,apparently a 70&71 no eng tags on either one ,both bikes are complete and sructurally sound, stored hi and dry for last 10 or 15 years, both engines are stuck and 71 model has a different looking alum.head with a machined clearance cut on the left side. also found a moarch motor no.6554458 with a nos frame. probably need to haul this load to mid ohio or ebay them or something, let me know if there interested. thanks norm
