Hello fellow Poggers,

I have a conical hub front wheel, like from maybe a 1979 but I don't have the correct backing plate. Can anyone help? Front brakes are so helpful on a race bike! :)

The backing plates from the old bikes will work, espically if you have one with the 8mm adjuster hole. If not drill the hole or just do what I do, use the 6mm cable from Allen. The only other differance was the brake cam but its only for use if you have the other brake hub arm and run the cable up the front. Old backing plate (well mag old ones anyway) with 6 or 8mm cable will work just fine on an older bike.
