HELP!! would a seat off of a 79 penton fit on a 73

We have been able to rebuild all our seat pans with a fiberglass boat repair kit we had on hand. How bad is the seat you have?

I dont own the 79 seat I wanted to buy one. but my whole seat is pratily  missing
