Chasing the Dream

I just joined the group after attending last weeks vintage
race at Motosports Park in Byron Il. An old high school friend
who I used to race with tempted me with a picture of his restored 72 Six Day. I had a 73 Six Day that I started racing with which I sold to a workmate. He had the bike up till a few years ago when his wife gave it away after a divorce. Luckily it went to a family member and I'm now trying to track it down.. My Six Day sat in his garage for 20+ years with only occasional outings.. Wish me luck in my endeavor.. I'm enjoying renewing my interest and look forward to an upcoming restore and some likely racing like the old days...
