JP is for real. I suspect he is out on a trip for the weekend with his family. I bought my Puch from him last summer. I know its tough to wait when you really want a rare item but hang in there. He is a great guy. If he strikes a deal with you he will give far more than you expected. He sure did with the Puch.

if you read my original posting-i was looking for a pogger near philadelphia area-i was not listing items for sale.i wanted input from someone local for help in identifying a lot of the parts i have that may or may not be penton.only one person responded-it's funny that after i list some of the things i have-EVERYONE- responds! it's frustrating that everyone says what a great family this group is-that is until i talk to SOME of the members-then it's stab each other in the back scrambling to buy the entire lot to profit off of each other-saying who or why someone else doesn't deserve to get any or all of it.who has more money-who already has 27 bikes ,etc.,etc. hey,i was fortunate enough to have started saving this stuff 20 years ago-i will never get to it all so i will sell it.BUT i will sell it at what i now feel is the only way that's fair-EBAY. i was hoping for some one to help me evaluate the condition and value of what i've got then maybe help out those who need a break,but i will let the market dictate that.sorry to those that were the "little guys"in the midst of this-but i really didn't want this much attention.so this is no fishing trip-i never listed prices or a complete list because i only wanted help.i'm sorry.

  First I didn't see and still don't see the first response you indicated you got after your initial post.  Secondly not all the people on this site are POG members.
  All that said I started collecting over 30 years ago and sell plenty on ebay and give plenty away or trade with POG members.  I will stand by the fact that I think POG is as much as a Family that one can expect from such a deverse group.  Sorry to let you know but it isn't a perfect world and I will be watching for your items on ebay.  Oh and by the way I have had fellow members(Friends) ask about the same item that I ask about FIRST.  If you think I am going to hold a grudge because someone else indicated a interest on someting I ask about your wrong.
  Well that is my take on this less that important issue.  I hope someone in your area actually answers your intial question and helps you identify you parts.

ron,i'm not whining-it's just that the majority of the people who i've talked to,or had email exchanges with were not as (for lack of better terminology) "family like". the one response that i got and the 37 others that i've had were not posted through the site-they were direct.hey-i've got a pile of stuff-i want to sell it-i don't want to just give it away (although i have been known to do that),plus i have things other than old pentons-like rickmans,montesa,husky,canam,obscure euro stuff,etc. alot of it was lumped into storage together-so there's some mixing.i just wanted to figure out what was what-so i don't throw away a part because i don't know what it is.i like helping out the individuals who actually still race thier bikes-in no way was my last post a direct stab at anyone nor was it at POG-i just decided to wing it-put the stuff on the bay that i know is penton,and figure out what's left.

  I don't want to sound unfair to you, but a lot of fine people have put a lot of time in making this organization the finest around I will repeat it THE FINEST AROUND.   I take it personal when somebody includes me(POG Family)that we intensionally attack and back stab each other for personal gain.  The back stabbing may (will) occur but if you are going to write about it include names not POG as a group.  I am very serious about this and I in no way speak for the POG but for me - Ron Carbaugh a member of the POG.  So with all that said, I don't want to sound so negative but call a Ace an Ace.  Say who you are talking about or drop it and go to ebay.
