mc5 tanks

i have 2 of what looks to be the larger capacity mc5 tanks.- 1 blue original paint.some wax,decals and small scratches touch up would make this one useable as is. 1 white(rattlecanned over red).they have the indent for the L shape decals.might be gs6,i'm just not sure.they fit none of my bikes.make an offer or i'll just trade for something-i do need a harescrambler 75 model tank would trade 2 for 1.thanks,ric [email protected]

Ric,
If the slot in the bottom of the tank is much larger than a standard CMF tank, it belongs to a GS6.

Ric,

Sounds like you have GS6 Gas Tanks. The L shaped indent is the give away. I am looking for the MX tank that will fit a GS6 frame breather. If you had one of those I would be all over it. Are you looking for the Watermelon tank on the 75' Hare Scrambler enduros or the smaller 1.8 gal MX tank?

chris,looking for watermellon,but either would do-i don't have any use for these.  thanks,ric         p.s. the tunnel on there is narrow at front and gets very wide at rear with 2and a quarter inch  tab sticking out of bottom rear.the white one has been riveted along bottom edge a la METTCO.

I have an extra Red watermellon tank for a 74/75 hare scrambler.
It's got a small glass repair on one side towards the top.
It's ready for paint, if interested.
