And don't forget to put the shims on before you replace the clutch.The chain wheel is very close to the shift shaft.
 I usually adjust the selector arm and snug the bolt down. Then I remove the large circlip and the bolt for the selector arm pivot. at that point you can slide the selector boss out on the shaft and remove the selector arm to tighten completely as well as to bend the lock washer.
