Greetings poggers, this is an update on the projects that I am doing in the shop here in L'ville, IL as the ice and snow falls.  I am coming along on my 1977 G.S. 400.  Fenders, wheels, and some misc. parts are painted and attached to the frame so I now have a rolling chase.  With a big hill, I could ride this puppy.  But I live on the flatlands, so I'll just have to wait till I get'r'done.  Now for my 1974 Mint 400, forks and some misc. parts are done, finishing up the wheels, and then maybe I'll have another rolling chase. Also waiting on a front fender from Tom.  Then I can get the fenders, airbox, and tank all painted.  I'm going to put on a plastic chain guard on this 400 just because I have one.  Hi-Point sold these and I have a couple of them and so I thought I'd just use one.  Now to my 1973 1/2, 250 Harescrambler, I just came from the paint room and finished up the frame, swingarm, misc. parts.  So it's coming along pretty good. Why would a person want to restore 3 Pentons at once???  Just an update on my progress and would like to hear more about others restorations, projects, etc.   Also we really enjoyed the POG meeting, museum, and especially Carl Crank stories. Priceless. Happy hearts day, dnd(dave & Di)

Waiting for some good fellow down south to bring my bikes to me. I am snowed in, I quess I will have to go and pick the bikes. Later Gary
