Getting closer now.

Hope this link works.  If anyone wants a couple of pics of where I'm at on this project, you can contact me at //www.vmxrestorations.com  Feel free to sign the guest book at the top of the front page in blue letters.

It goes without saying, but I'll say it, many many thanks go to my buddies Skip and Ron C., along with Al Buehner, Mr. Doug Wilford, Ed James, and Jeff Martin...

Will have more pics in the near future.

I like the fish. Looks like a great start. The front end really caught my eye, sharp! I owned on of these beauties in years past.  If the rest of the bike is as nice as this you will have yourself one nice ride. Keep us up to date. Gavin

Thanks for the kind words Gavin.  The fish is a 22+ lb red fish I caught here in Texas many years ago.  The bike on the other hand is a resto for Skip Page who lives in Arizona.  I did his other '71 Steel tank which is next months pic in the POG calender.  I hope to get this one close to that one or nicer.  Leaned a lot on the 1st one and I believe ol Skip is right when he said  that though I'm a CZ guy, I just might have some Penton blood running through my veins afterall.

LS  (all for fun)

Noticed the Sammy Hagar guitar in the background. You will have to get a bottle of Cabo Wabo Tequilla to celebrate the completion of your bike. Nice job so far.

Yes sir!  Guitar was a gift along with a signed bottle and other bottles of his Cabo Wabo Tequilla.  Good stuff, smooooooth !  Only drink it on special occasions...  Thanks for the kind words..  LS
