Thanks for the heads up and the effort Ron on getting this pipe built for us . It looks like it weights half of  what  the standard pipe weights.
Now did these KR bikes all have a rear disk and the shifter on the right side ??

Raymond,
I believe the bikes that were sold complete were in this configuration.  Remember there were some frame only sales and Class C is bring what you build.

Ron, is there any chance you could post a picture of the tank and seat area.  I've never seen one of these paticular Pentons before
Thanks again

So thats what the rest of the bike looks like [:p],     Thanks michael for sharing that photo with us...
I was just curious how  the rear quarter and tank scheme fell together.   And LT has the rear quarter available ta boot. Thats Even Better news!
Tom, I am just gathering the bits and pieces at this point. Hopefully this fall and winter I can get it all together. And so far, I think its not gonna weigh much more than 210 lbs...
 Race Ready !!

Hi Ray! Glad to hear the Penton creative juices are flowing once again. I trial fitted my KRP seatbase to a 76 mc5 frame and it looks like it will fit....the KRP seat tapers towards the front of the base...if you trim the base approx 5 in. the seatbase clears the rails, and allows the use of the stock MC5 tank, you can also make a cutout for the tang that hangs off of the rear of the tank in the seat base. I also trial fitted to a 78 frame and in appears to fit as well. The High Breather 75 frame is a bit too wide etc....

Can't imagine how pretty a Yellow custom MC5 flatracker would look, complete with white/black checkers on the tank and base.[:p]
