Speedy,

I hope Lynn puts us near each other again. I never enjoyed a ride as much as the one when we rode together. You sure are Speedy!!!!

Teddy

Speedy is not going to be there this year.  He is being inducted into the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame !  He will be back next year with Burchard Lenz.
Dwight

There you got it.
You have to wait til next year to have FUN with me,...[}:)]:D

Hi Dwight,

I guess RainMain wants to eventually get back home.  1500 over, 1500 back ?

I heard a rumor that it will be a tad closer the next 2 years.  BUT , I ain't telling where.  But, where is there anyplace in the continental USA that it would be a 3000 mile road trip to Ark ?  Team up and come.  There are several VINDURO members coming from the left coast. S.Ca. and N. Ca. . This is a once a year event and as you already know it is something not to be missed.
IMO,
Dwight

PS: it is only 2670.88 miles from Jackson, MS to Bellingham Wa.  That is the furtherest point in the Continental USA from Jackson, MS.  Russelville Ark. would be several hundred miles closer.

THAT DOESN'T COUNT !   LOL
Find a friend to share the ride with.  It is only once a year. This is too much fun for anyone to pass up.

I guess I have more fun than people, I've spent 11 weekends on the road this summer and have enjoyed every Enduro, motocross, Hare scramble and flat track race and a bunch of other stuff I've participated in.
My  bikes are trashed, my  wallets well er... you know, and my family really wonders where does it all end.

I cant wait till next season...

Just my thoughts but I would like to see longer event.  I will be on the road about 14 hours one way to ride only 4 hours in 2 days.  Seems short on enjoyment time to me.  Ted

I too would like a bit longer event, but at 12mph average even 60 miles will be a 5 hr day and almost 3 hrs on Sunday with the final MX test. I wouldn't mind seeing 70+ miles on saturday and about 45miles on Sunday with the test.
Don't forget the banquet on Saturday evening also.

I am working on a Friday ride near the RR.  Just waiting on some info from friends.  there is a area with 3 or 4 loops near the reunion ride.

Dwight:  I did not know, since this is my first ISDTRR that 12mph is the schedule.  Will make for a long (time wise) day.  I was thinking 24mph was the standard.  Ted

Dwight Rudder

12mph , leaves lots of chit chat time at the checkpoints.  This is as much a social event as it is a riding event.

Does the ISDTRR have cross country tests or just the MX at the end?  Ted

Last years ISDTRR had an acceleration/braking test and 2 timed sections, so I would assume that this one would be the same. The one lap timed MX part of the special test was ommitted because of time restraints due to the excessive rain before the actual event. Mike

Dwight,

SOCIAL EVENT!  I didn't think you were very SOCIAL to me in the final MX last year, I had hoped you might hang with the rest of us, but no, you had to run off and play on your own:)

Do you have a horn on your bike this year?

Paul
