Merry Christmas

Hey gang,

I have been up to my ears in alligators lately (no, not a Florida enduro!!) and haven't stopped by the POG site in an awfully long time. I just want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. My prayer is that we all can (will) take the time to be quiet and talk to the man whose birthday it is that we are celebrating. Emmanuel means "God with us". I hope I can live my life next year with the realization that He is with me all the time, listening to everything I say, helping me with everything I do.

I just realised how this message probably came across. The reason I said "listening to everything I say, helping me with everything I do" was to try to make me NOT say things that I wouldn't want God to hear. In other words, to keep my language clean and uplifting and I can do nothing without His help. Reading it now it sounds like I was saying that God was my slave. I am sorry about this, nothing could be farther from the truth.
