Brian, I agree except I had one on mine for a while and could not get it jetted just right. That's the only reason I prefer Bings. I seem to be able to jet them easier. Mikunis are more available though and cheaper for parts.

Lew,
 We could see if the Hammers in Germany could come up with one. Leo may know if a 22 would slip on the Sachs spigot or if an addapter would be needed.
 Susanna and Norbert have been a big help to me with hard to find parts.

John thanks for the gearing info.I thought I had read that 1st and 2nd gear were the same in both engines. Lew and I are both running 152 top ends on our bikes and the extra UMPF is great but they pose their own problems, mostly too much compression to the point they don't like pump gas. I think Lew may have added a head gasket to help this (correct me if I'm wrong on this Lew)

The last Wassell I put together is a stock DW built 5A with the radial high compression head. This has turned out to be a very ridable easy to tune bike
